Garden Ceremony at Highland Manor
Set at Highland Manor in Apopka, this wedding moved from an outdoor ceremony under the oak trees into an indoor reception, with soft blue and white details carried through the entire day.
The ceremony took place beneath one of the property’s large oak trees, with Spanish moss overhead and natural light filtering through. The setup was intentionally simple with a wooden arbor and low floral arrangements lining the aisle. Keeping everything close to the ground made the space feel open and let the tree and surroundings do most of the work. White roses, lilies, and greenery were used throughout, with small touches of blue woven in.
The bridal party brought in that same soft blue, which stood out nicely against the neutral setting without feeling too bold. The bridal bouquet followed the same direction, mostly white blooms with a bit of blue and textured greenery to keep it from feeling too structured.
Inside, the reception felt like a shift into something quieter and more intimate. The draped ceilings and chandeliers added softness, and candlelight kept the space warm without needing much else. Tables were kept simple, and the sweetheart table was finished with a low floral arrangement that tied back to the ceremony without feeling repetitive.
Everything felt consistent from start to finish, with the outdoor setting and indoor space working together rather than competing. The day moved naturally from a bright, open ceremony into a more relaxed, candlelit reception.
